Our original shepherd hut, The Mallard has a traditional stable door and a palette of soft, pale tones, with a touch of bygone elegance and romance.

The perfect amount of tasteful accessories in natural wood and wicker, strikes the perfect balance, to give The Mallard a relaxed, tranquil and effortless ambience, with en suite facilities and a private jetty to the lake side.

Step inside to find tea and coffee waiting for you after your journey, or why not order an optional breakfast basket filled with locally grown produce, to really get you in the right mood? The comfortable double bed offers the perfect accommodation for two adults.

On evenings when you don’t want to venture too far, the well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal that can be enjoyed on your private patio by the warmth of the chiminea.
