The Black Bull in Donington dates back over 450 years, retaining many of its original features and all its charm. The well-stocked bar offers real ales, premium gins and ciders, while the restaurant features a wholesome menu with good, home-cooked fayre using local produce, including fish and chips, light bites and desserts. The pub has a regular steak night and occasional theme nights. There is plenty of secure parking and a beer garden for the warmer months.

Just a ten minute drive away, in the picture post card village of Bicker, you will find Ye Olde Red Lion pub, the epitome of an English country pub. Popular with locals and visitors alike, the Red Lion has low beams, open fires, real ale and a fine menu. Using fresh ingredients from local suppliers, the menu contains a selection of home made dishes to make your mouth water.
