Steep Hill & The Strait, Lincoln – famous not only for its cobbles and steep gradient (16.2°), Steep Hill offers the visitor a plethora of quaint, independent businesses, including specialist confectionery parlours, vintage boutiques and quirky tearooms. Before you tackle the Hill itself, browse the flatter Strait area, home to old book shops, vintage clothes shops and food and drink outlets.
